Why Gingko 21 ?

Gingko Biloba is a Far Eastern tree, the oldest species on the planet. It may be 150 million years old and has resisted dinosaurs extinction and Hiroshima nuclear bombing. In Japan, it is called grand father's and grand son's tree because someone who plants a Gingko will not harvest its fruits. It definitely embodies the principle of sustainable development. 

Then, 21 refers to Agenda 21, which is a sustainable development action plan for the 21st century. It was adopted by 173 heads of state at the Rio de Janeiro Earth Summit in 1992.

Gingko 21 is a consulting office in eco-design and eco-innovation. Therefore, our daily habits and behaviour should be examplary. That is why we take sound and simple actions to minimize our environmental footprint: public transportation commuting, color printing limitation, recycled paper purchasing, waste sorting beyond local rules...

Above all, doing our job well is the most important lever to reduce environmental impact: helping clients in minimizing environmental footprint of their products and services, as they design them, is our indirect contribution to releave environmental load.  We have high quality standards and passion is at the heart of every of our missions.
